Our Promise to You

At 701 Candles, every candle we pour is made by hand and with heart right here in North Dakota. We take pride in what we create and want you to be happy with your purchase. If something isn’t quite right, we’ll do our best to fix it — neighbor to neighbor.


All Sales Are Final

Because our candles are handmade in small batches, all sales are final.


We can’t accept returns or exchanges for scent preferences, ordering mistakes, or if you simply change your mind.

If you have any questions about a candle before ordering, we’re always happy to help — just give us a call or send us a message.


Damaged or Defective Orders

Sometimes things happen in shipping that we can’t control. If your candle arrives damaged or if there’s a defect, we’re here to make it right.

To request a replacement:

  • Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

  • Email handpoured@701candles.com with:

    • Your name

    • Order number

    • A few photos showing the issue

We’ll take a look and either send you a replacement or offer you store credit.
In rare cases, we may ask you to send the damaged item back.


Items We Can't Take Back

We can’t accept returns on:

  • Candles that have been lit

  • Clearance or sale items

Thanks for understanding — it helps us keep doing what we love.


Missing or Incorrect Items

If something’s missing from your box or you received the wrong candle, let us know within 5 days.


We’ll get it sorted out and make sure you’re taken care of.
